ABOUT GABRIELLE

 

Gabrielle Calise is a Gainesville-based multimedia storyteller studying journalism at the University of Florida. She worked as an editorial intern at Tower Publications and at Tampa Bay Newspapers. She spent the past summer covering hard news and features as an intern for The Gainesville Sun and is currently completing multimedia journalism projects as an intern University of Florida News Department. 

 

Gabrielle has contributed articles and photographs to Tower Publications (Our Town Magazine and Senior Times Magazine), Tampa Bay Newspapers' eight regional publications, The Independent Florida Alligator, the Tampa Bay Times, the Gainesville Sun, the Fine Print and Sparks Magazine. She also works as a producer and anchor for WUFT's News In 90. 

 

Gabrielle is a Journalism and Communications Ambassador at the University of Florida and vice president of the Florida Magazine Student Association. 

 

An avid music lover, Gabrielle also founded the music blog Swamp Sounds to profile the entertainment scene in Gainesville.
